Brilliant yellow hue. Fresh and intense, with a mix of sensations of freshly peeled apple, orange peel, bee pollen and aromatic herbs. Concentrated, fat but refreshing. Long finish.

Luscious. I was sorry I had to share the bottle. I would have called the fruit peachy more than appley and there was a definite honey flavor, sweet but not enough to stun your palate. We had it with a cheese plate — rosemary Asiago and a miniature triple creme (Delice des Cremiers).
Good choice. If you ever have the chance try it with Torta del Casar, which I’m afraid is also something to share: a spanish chese served melted to dip little toasts in it to be paired only with Victoria. There is a Denomination of Origen Torta del Casar.

What an excellent wine! I tasted it last night, at a wine dinner at the Refectory Restaurant. Usually the food is so memorable, but this wine and the great company were what stuck in my mind. A beautiful wine, named for a beautiful woman! (Gracias por su conversacion, Victoria)
*About the wine: It was paired with a citrus/grapefruit dessert, which was very hard to describe. I will definitely be trying it with a strong cheese, as Victoria suggested.
